There is not an FHA loan to help you construct a home. FHA will finance a home once it is constructed though.

If you want to build a home from the ground up, then the product you probably need is a construction loan. Not many lenders do them any more, and the ones that do probably have pretty strict guidelines since these loans cannot be sold and they need to keep them on the books.

As with conventional financing, you will probably need to wait 7 years past the foreclosure to get a loan.
