Properties located close to the Healdsburg Plaza list at a premium. Powell Avenue has historically been the divider for walking distance to the Plaza. We have been trying to break that perception because there are areas north of town like Rosewood for example that have many excellent choices and is 1 mile to the Plaza.

Stephan, This market defies most logical approaches to evaluation and both Buyers and Sellers in a quandry, as our their Realtor/Licensees. I meet with homebuyers flush with the idea of getting a tremendous deal on real estate as the media is shouting foreclosure, prices slashed, desperate sellers and then they come face to face with a bank owned property which has 15 offers on it and I tell them they must OVERBID to get it!! HUH? Lesson learned--there is NO set forumulae for negotiating an offer in this maketplace. Your Real Estate PRO is the person who can demonstrate to you the differing price segments, what constitutes a great deal and which property really is a DAWG!! (sic).... more
