Hi,

At this time, unfortunately, we currently do not have listings for rent to own homes. You may try your luck though and search our website using the Keyword section of the search filter which can be found in the All Filters button. However, these listings are extremely rare.

Please follow these steps to begin your home search:

1. Click the "Rent' tab at the top of our homepage.
2. Enter your desired city and state in the search bar and hit Enter.
3. Click 'Max Price' to select what your highest price would be to pay for a home. Click 'Min Price' to set the lowest price you would pay.
4. Click 'More Filters'.
5. Select your preferred property type, square footage, etc.
6. Click the red 'Apply' button.

This will begin to pull up listings that are more tailored to what you are looking for.

If you are interested in a listing, click on the "Contact the agent" button to get in touch with a real estate professional in your area. You can also take advantage of our vast network of agents here:

http://www.trulia.com/directory/

We hope your experience with Trulia is memorable and thank you for using Trulia for all your real estate needs.

For future reference, you can feel free to contact us about this type of inquiry through our contact form here:

Thank you for using Trulia!

I don't care where you are, that is something you should ALWAYS get inspected. Do not gamble with the plumbing! Repairs can get expensive quickly if you have any sort of drain related problems. Those are not something you want to find out about after you've purchased a home! ... more

I am not local. You can only do a streamline 203k with cosmetic repairs between 5k and 35k. If permits are required you would have to use a 203k and an assigned cost/coordinator.

It only takes a few dozen questions to qualify and go over your options. Here are some links to study as well as web reference links to 203k loans and many loan programs...

Manufactured homes can be incredibly hard to finance. Maybe not for everyone, but for some which will limit your market pool upon resell thus lowering value since desire is lower. I am doing a loan for a property in santa clara for $460k sales price. 3 bedroom, seems like a good price to me

Hi Erica,

I have lived in both Hayward and Castro Valley. In Castro Valley I lived in the Five Canyons Abbywood subdivision which is newer homes withing your price range. There is a neighborhood watch and Five Canyons is a very good place to live. Also, the nice areas of Hayward are the Hayward Highlands and areas of Hayward near Five Canyons Castro Valley.

Please contact me for more information about these areas.
