Hi Michelle,

You will want to speak with a lender regarding your qualification. The lender will help you identify the loan amount for which you qualify. After receiving a pre-qualification letter from the lender, you will be in a position to potentially begin your house hunt.

If you would like assistance with this process, please contact me , and I am happy to help. I am very familiar with the Kyle/Buda market.

Thanks!

USDA is a great zero down loan program for qualified areas.

While USDA is limited in the areas served, there are 2 other Texas based loan programs to assist with down payment for qualified purchasers in a broader area.

If I can be of any help in those directions please message me to find out other options for zero money down programs.

I hope this helps,

Thanks!

There are potentially a lot of scams with rent-to-own homes. As mentioned by another agent below, the homeowner has little incentive to keep paying their mortgage and will stop paying it and pocket the money. You have to be absolutely certain that the homeowner owns their home free and clear if you are going this route.

If you are a veteran, there are several programs available that will qualify you to buy at 580 FICO with a 5% mortgage, possibly less if your loan in underwritten by the Texas Veterans Land Board. Additionally a veteran using a VA or a TX VLB loan can purchase a home with 0%, something few others are able to do.

When it comes to any safety/crime related issues, it's always best to contact the local police department with all your questions, hear all there is to hear firsthand. If unfamiliar with the area(s) do revisit more than once and at different times of day, possibly chat with locals/neighbors. Real estate professionals are prohibited from steering, enticing a buyer to purchase/rent, or not, in specific neighborhoods.

Very hard to find no restrictions in hays county. I currently am listing agent and I also reside in the same community of property for sale. Amazing piece of heaven. You are 15 minutes to Dripping Springs. It is a 5.23 acre lot and what sets it apart from all others is your access to gated private homeowners park to the Pedernales River by car or foot. Swim,Hike,Fish and canoe. We are seven miles from Pedernales State Park. Put in your canoe at State Park and float down to the private park. This is a very private secluded area. Not much turn over of property. Come view for yourself this hidden treasure. Again agent lives in community. This lot does have a mandatory $75 HOA annual which helps fund keeping the park road paved and upkeep of park. Blanco county does not have building restrictions..HOA does not permits travel trailers or mobile homes. Agent has on hand all covenants for review. This lot will not last so call today and I will be glad to walk the land with you and then take you to the private park to see your river access.

Elisa Grant, Keller Williams Realty, Dripping Springs, Texas

Currently listing agent for undeveloped 5.23 acres on border of hays/blanco county. Property is in Blanco so huge savings on property taxes. Utilities and address is Dripping Springs. Agent lives in the neighborhood for 23 years. Amazing lot. This property is on a private water system. NO WELL NEEDED. Water is run to the front of property. One thing that sets this apart from any other land is private gated homeowners park. You have access by car or foot to the Pedernales River. Hike, fish, swim, canoe all summer. We are seven miles from the Pedernales State Park. Put in your canoe at state park and float down to the private park. There are not many opportunities to have this access to water and not pay the river frontage prices. Call today and I will walk the land and take you to the park to see this piece of heaven. Have a great day, Elisa 512-940-3496 ... more
