Dan,

I am unsure of what you are asking. There is no utopia where crime is non existent. Or most people would be living there (myself included). Every city and town has crime. The degree fo crime for any city and town is realtive to a lot of other variables liek town size, population, major metro area or not, etc.... And the types of crimes vary as well....

Charlotte has it's fair share of crime. i do not know the stats in comparison to other cities or where you may be coming from. But if you do not feel safe looking in a specific neighborhood becuase of the crime then i would advise you to look in other areas and neighborhoods of Charlotte.
