There are 4 elements that need to be in a straight line in order to give a house a better than average chance of selling....Price, Condition, Location and Staging. Houses that are priced according to the current market, In Good Condition, Well Staged inside and out, and do not have a serious location problem, are selling.

If you are seeing houses that are just sitting on the market unsold, one or more of those 4 elements are out of whack, and the seller needs to make an adjustment.

Hi Dottie,

I am really familiar with the area. There are many homes for sale in Old Stone Crossings. Is Old Stone the only subdivision that you are interested in living? I would welcome the opportunity to assist you in your new home search. Please feel free to contact me if you would like further information or if you have any questions.

If the redemption period is past, and they are offering you $500 for keys, there would be VERY few situations where it would be better for you not to take the offer. You can check with a real estate attorney in the state where your property is located, but the time to have done something about this would have been in the months leading up to the foreclosure. If you appreciate an answer, please give thumbs up. For the most helpful answer, please say thanks with a best answer click. ... more
