Not only has it flooded but my brother & sister-in-law took pictures of all the water inside their apartment and moved out before their lease was up just to get their stuff out of there before it was to happen again. Since they took pictures they were not challenged by the rental agency about breaking their lease. There are certain apartments on the property that definitely experience flooding over by the playground and fitness center area where the grounds seem softer or lower. ... more

Hampton has a lot of crime,and violent crime.I think they try hard to solve the crimes,but when people wear ski masks,cover their faces,etc.it makes it pretty hard I guess.

One of those answers was rude and essentially uneducated. Not all college students are created equal. It really depends on the people that move in. You really cannot choose your neighbors, unfortunately. I wish you luck in that you will have the type of college students move-in to your neighborhod that value where they live, and want to make something of themselves. I was a poor grad student just one year ago...not all of us are that bad. ... more

Richard Ave is about 6 blocks from Buckroe Beach. 2058 Richard Ave is under contract. 2012 Richard Ave is a fixer upper that is still available. There is another home at 2102 Pembroke Ave, also about 6 blocks from Buckroe Beach that is priced at $71,000.

I just listed a wonderful home in Olde Wythe off of Powhatan Parkway yesterday. Take a drive by, grab a flyer and let me know if you want to take a look inside! They have completely restored/renovated the entire house and it really shows well. There's nothing else left for the new owner to do but enjoy it!
