Yes, I agree with my colleagues here. It's far less likely now than it was some years or even some months ago. BUT, not impossible. The rental market has been fairly profitable these days as many folks couldn't qualify for a mortgage due to the more stringent mortgage standards.

Now, the sales market is picking back up again and, as I write this, agents and buyers have to be quick on the draw to get an offer in on a property before another offer comes on the table!

You can always ask, but it would be a better use of your time to pursue properties that the owners actually WANT to rent.

This is a subject near and dear to my heart...and wallet as we were in one of the proposed areas for the water and sewer.

Last I heard the council voted 4-1 to keep private wells and septics and one acre minimums in the comprehensive plan. If they do anything at the corner of Crosstown and Lexington for the businesses, those who would benefit would pay. This is what was supposed to be in the 10 year comprehensive plan submitted to the Met Council for approval in June.
