It should be a newer building Water or Oceanfront. The size is not important, a one bedroom condo is big enough for us. I know the area and I'm always looking for condos at realtor.com. Sometimes there is an interesting condo available. But we can't come to Miami just for looking for one condo. The maximum price we want to spend is 200.000 US$, cash. I saw many shortsales and they were always sold when I asked for them. For that reason my idea was to pay some money for something like a reservation, than taking a flight and if the condo looks like it looked on the pictures buying it. But it seems like this is not possible? We were in Miami in October last year and looked at some buildings. But we chose the wrong realtor, she was very very friendly but she usually sells condos in Sunny Isles for some millions. She didn't know the market for cheaper condos and at the end we flew back and we couldn't find anything. Has somebody any idea for our situation?
