Hi Mario, most towns in the surrouding area's are zero crime rate towns with a tremendous police presence. I grew up in the area and I can attest personally that it is a very safe area. ... more

My office is on Hudson Street near Washington Ave. I have been here since 2001 and there has only been one incident as far as I remeber that took place last summer in the corner of Hudson and Jackson Ave. of course there are statistics and things happen that I do not know about, but usually my office opens around 9: am and some agents work until 9:pm and we have all felt safe. I suggest you drive around the area of the house you are looking into purchasing to see what is going on in the weekends and evenings when it is nice out. ... more
