Do you have any type of income? Welfare? Child support? Social Security Disability? Alimony? If so, you might qualify for subsidized rent. Check out listings through the local housing authority, HUD, and USDA Rural Development I recommend meeting with a counselor at your local community college. They might have some work/study programs, while you complete your GED. You might also see if you can get a short internship, paid or unpaid. Often, employers will hire good interns, after the term of the internship. If you are creative, you might try selling some handcrafted items. If you attend a house of worship, ask the leadership if they know of any job openings. Network, network, network. It can be who you know, rather than what you know that lands you a job. ... more

When you say you accepted a contract I'm presuming you are the Seller and you agreed to and signed an Agreement of Sale with a Buyer.
If you agreed to a contract the Buyer presents a check to be kept in escrow by his or her Broker as Earnest Money aka Hand Money (among other documents.)

What are you changing your mind about? Not wanting to accept the Buyet's offer?

I'd be more than happy to speak with you to get more details about your inquiry situation.

Please call or email me and I'll be glad to help.

Hello Chad, I suggest looking in your sales agreement for the deadline date for both buyer and seller to reach an agreement. If your agent put a short date in there, perhaps it has expired, making the offer no longer valid. If you can't get a response from the agent, you might have your agent call the agent's broker. I've seen cases where the offer was too low and the agent/seller didn't feel it was worthy to spend time on a response, but a response in any event would be the courteous thing to do. ... more

It depends on what kind of contract you signed with he agent your working with, and the rules in you state. Google them, and look at your agreement you signed.

If the agent helped you find the place they maybe entitled to compensation, or it can be agreed they are compensated. If not then they maybe out of luck...

If they are an ethical agent it won't matter to them, only that you found your dream home and they get the satisfaction they were able to help you in the process! Thats what being a Real Estate Agent is all about at the end of the day!

Good luck!
