Hi Gladys. Typically landlords or property management companies will look at a combination of your rental history and credit score with the credit being the more important component. All they really look for in your rental history is to make sure you don't owe another complex money and haven't broken a lease. If you're credit doesn't meet their standards, some are willing to charge you a higher deposit and give you a chance. Most typically that will be one half to one full month's rent on an apartment and one to two months rent on an individually owned property. ... more

The house posted for lease is actually in the Chateau Forest or Woodland Forest subdivision. It's a strecth to call it "Greater Inwood", that's the greater part of the description. Inwood proper is actually east of there, which is where I live. We have a very active community including the Inwood Forest COP (IFCOP) program made up of volunteers that patrol the area and report suspicious activities to the HPD.

If you are in Inwood the high school would be Eisenhower
which is part of the Aldine school system and has very high rating and has recently won several national awards in education. Check to see if this house is in the Aldine district and if not you may want to look for something in Inwood Forest, Inwood Pines or Inwood North subdivisions. You may pay a little more but you'll get more as well.

Inwood pines neighborhood pool is located at the end of N TC Jester and Mayfield Dr.

There are only Pending sales left in the neighborhood at this time, but there is plenty of inventory in surrounding neighborhoods like Inwood Forest, etc.

Let me know if you want to be put on alert for new listings in this neighborhood, looks like the good deals go fast in there.

Check out my website and send me an e-mail.
