It is a event facility. Each year during the Holiday home tours the van rides drop the group off for refreshments and later that evening a band plays holiday music. Very large home and a beautiful backyard. Its worth the tour just to see the home! The property is located on Grayson/New Hope about 1/4 of a mile north from Grayson hwy. ... more

When it was listed last August, Jjays, the middle school info showed as Mcconnell. This home in Pinehurst at Lakeview sold and closed on 3/15/2011. Most of the neighborhood is both gas and electric. For gas check with the city of Lawrenceville, for electric call Georgia Power; Gwinnett County water is your only option there. Good Luck!

Hello Ebony,

Hawthorn Glen is in a nice area, quiet and easy access to everything. I have lived in the immediate area for 26 years, starting across 78 in Summit Chase and currently in the middle of Grayson, so am familiar with differences in all the areas. Hawthorn Glen is closer to highway 78 and therefore more traffic than areas either closer to downtown Grayson or on the other side, but it depends on what you're looking for. If you need to hop onto 78 to drive downtown for work, it is much more convenient than some of the other areas. If you are truly looking for a quieter place, then I would recommend the other side of Grayson, where 84 crosses Ga20 and turns into Grayson-New Hope.

If you'd like some more specific ideas of places to look, feel free to let me know.

Thanks,

Karsten Torch
