To clarify, this isn't a rental property. It's a single-family home. The seller's agent happened to mention that a "family member" was living there.

I understand the need to protect tenant rights. It just seems that it would make sense for a seller disclosure of any lease agreements to be part of any purchase agreement. Any seller could be renting their home out and even their agent might not know.

We'll definitely include a disclosure requirement and other conditions mentioned as part of the offer.
