Get a good Realtor to help. Its free to use their services. Interview two or three agents and go with the one you mesh best with.

The best way to get a good "vibe" about a neighborhood is to go there at 8:00 or 9:00pm at night and park on the street.

Do you feel safe getting out of your car?
Are there other people walking their dogs?

Once you find an area that you like, contact a broker to help you search homes in that area.

Just give me a call if you would like some help.

Hello,

You need to move fast. There are not very many town homes in that area. What is your budget? Are you paying cash or getting a loan? Are you working with a Realtor that can get you into the properties as soon as they hit the market?

Best regards,

Pat,
Lots of nice places coming on the market in Chicago. Prices seem better than in the past. If you need a condo specialist to help you pick the right place please let me know. You might also check out this website.... http://www.bestchicagocondos.com/ ... more
