1. Earth Advantage®
2. ENERGY STAR®
3. LEED for Homes®
4. Oregon High Performance Homes

These four programs I believe are all certification programs that will give you an EPS rating on your home. Energy Trust has developed the Energy Performance Score as a clear and quantitative way to assess a newly built home's energy consumption, estimated utility costs and related carbon impact. Think of it as a miles per gallon how energy your home will use so when you are comparing homes you are coming the same things in regards to saving on energy. They all have programs that compare the energy and where the trees come from to your design and how you use water from your property to how it is captured on the property and used. All of these programs are different and they do different things so they are not the same in all ways. Some are much more involved than the other programs. I am a trade Ally of Earth Advantage and have an E.A. S.T.A.R. Earth Advantage Sustainability Training for Accredited Real Estate Professionals license.
