Can I use a composting toilet or incinerator toilet instead of getting a septic put in?

Your local Codes Department will be able to tell you. However, if you'll research the topic a bit more, you may be happier in the long run with a septic tank. Think about when you go to resell your property; it's likely that those buyers won't be quite as "green" as you are.

Every township has it's own regulations, so, you must check with the local sewage enforcement officer. You can get the names of your local officer at your local Township Building Office office or call the County where the property is located.

That depends upon local regulations. They work, but not all community officials think so. You will need to speak to your code officials there.
