What is a "solicitor"? Did anybody verify with the county (tax assessor or planning department) when the home was built? For every home, it gets recorded with the county and for new built homes, it means a change in the property taxes. This is kept on file with the county. There should also be a property card which details the structure of the home - on file with the county. Counties keep records on file forever. ... more

Only a licensed real estate agent can post listings directly to Trulia. If you are doing a for sale by owner, try Zillow instead.

Not sure I understand your question. This site pulls listings from the MLS and listed with a REALTOR. You cannot post a home for sale by owner.

I can answer this question. I first noticed that they are showing the wrong addresses with the wrong homes. How do I know?!, because I lived at 225 E. Ridge. The reason why 225 E. Ridge is a much lower price than all the surrounding homes is because of the paranormal activity that occurs in the home(the map says 223 then 227 but does not show 225, its the one with the sign to sell it in the front, light bluish siding, and no garage). I know, it sounds crazy, but this house changed my life, and the way I thought about everything, forever. The past owner was a lady in CT, but, really she did not landlord the units. Its a gentleman by the name Mike McQueeny. If you look him up on Google, you will see some very shocking info about this person. I knew nothing of him till he rented me the place and the mayor of the town helped inform me. His girlfriend Colleen always handled most of the issues and was the person who showed me the apt. She had told me they were nervous about renting to young people(I was 18 at the time, now 31),because people moved from the apt and left all their belongings there. She sd they were sick of the hassle of cleaning up after everyone. I asked her why they did that and she used a curse word to describe them. Being a skeptic, I just thought the people were immature. I assured them I would never do anything like that. A lil over a year later, and many months of avoiding the apt at all cost(I ended up sleeping in my car most of the time), I left not only the town, but the state, and all my belonging in the apt, and did not look back. I still long for a lot of my belongings I left there due to I left heirlooms, art books I started in the 3rd grade, family photos, all my furniture, clothes... everything. I took 3 boxes of stuff and fled the town without even notifying my friends. That house put me in 3 years of counseling and even though it was crazy, I am a stronger, wiser person today because of what I went through there. Do not rent, purchase,or plan to take this home unless your intentions are to raze it. I had many witnesses to my stories, and they too had their opinions on life change, and with most of the town being Catholics, including my friends, it was hard to get their minds-eye to change towards the obvious. I have been contemplating putting my story with my witnesses on the tv show "My Ghost Story", now that I see the house is being sold and the old landlords cant harass me, loved ones are telling me its time to get the story out. I dont tell many people, but when I saw your question, I had to write back, I felt compelled. I am a scientific person, I have 3 medical degrees-all with honors.. so, I am not a crazy person, or uneducated. I am just a person who experience unexplained events at this location. Ironwood is a ghost town, if you like to drink and go to strip clubs you will fit right in,but please take my heed and do not move into 225 E. Ridge St. ;) ... more

Per our MLS statistics, the Western End of the UP Realtors sold: 2011 - 413 units, total $21,284,942 with an average of $51,537. In 2012 - 436.5 units, total $25,551,890 with an average of $58,538. Of course this is all types of Real Estate including vacant land, commercial, single family, multi-family, etc. In my opinion I would say that we seem to be on a trend that is heading up and that list prices have adjusted to be much more accurate of the current conditions. Low interest rates have definately made purchasing more appealing. ... more

to continue, my lates after bankruptcy were really not an issue either for some lenders.
What one denies, another will approve.

So I am down now to finding a lender in the MI area where they'll be willing to lend a lower amount, 43900 and would let me slide on my debt ratio of 34.8 which is really close to the max for an FHA.
I called Wells, I called Coldwell Banker. Can't really call Chase or BOA as those two I filed Bankruptcy on.
Any ideas, I would surely appreciate in or near the Upper Peninsula of MI.
