The rentals in Glen Ellyn start from $915 for 1bd 1ba apt, from $1,350 for 2bd 2ba condo and the single family homes start from $1,800 for 3bd 1ba home. The only rental on Main st. is a 4bd 2ba single family home from $2,600 a month rent...

Commissions, by Federal Laws are negotiable and there are not "set, common or standard" fees we can quote without breaking this law. What I can tell you is that each agent sets what they value their work for and some are better than others. Paying a high fee however isn't a guarantee of great work and paying a lower fee is no guarantee of a true savings.
Interview several local agents and find out what they charge and what they do for their fee.

The way I describe this town is "Mayberry". I may be dating myself because, quite honestly, with all of the young families moving to town I am not quite sure if they are familiar with the reference. Glen Ellyn is a small town in DuPage County rich in history and tradition. I feel it is a nice socio-economic mix. We have a thriving downtown, College of DuPage, fabulous schools, park district, public library and the Metra train system that gets you to Chicago in 40 minutes!!
