If you have experience in selling property then you may want to represent yourself. Most people are experts in the job they perform every day and one should rely on an expert Realtor to do this job. Even with all the information available on the internet, there are parts of selling a property that could cost a seller money. ... more

I think that most people would enjoy an in-ground pool. The only disadvantage is the extra maintenance requirements. Like you said, though, pools are pretty easy to keep up with these days. Some families with small children might be concerned about the safety hazards.

You make a very good point Jamie! I have had a lot of clients recently that were looking at rentals and had no idea that they could qualify for a mortgage. Hi David,
I have looked into this and it seems like your Glastonbury hom,e sight unseen, would be in the neighborhood of $350 depending on upgrades. The one in Wethersfield would be in the neighborhood of $285 -$290 - For what you have it listed for doesn't compare to anything that has sold with your size, bedrooms, baths etc...You can reach me at or 860-647-8000 x18 ... more

I am a licensed mortgage lender, have an office and live in Glastonbury.

i have been in the mortgage business, all in Central CT, since 1988.

This would take, less than 1 hour, to get you properly qualified and pre-approved. If you are self employed or earn more than 25% of your income, as commission...I will first need your complete 2011 and 2012, federal tax returns.

Toll Brothers is rather selective when choosing to purchase land. If they feel the ROI is not be as strong as other lots within the subdivision, they typically pass on them. Since this particular lot isn't woven into the true neighborhood feel Toll is known to create, they chose not to build on it. Catarino Bros. are highly reputable custom builders in town and have built some homes in and around the neighborhood. If you would like more information, I'm happy to help.

it's correct in public records, wrong on trulia. There were two sales on the same day for $130,000, due to it being two owners. Trulia shows the house sold for $130,000 - not the $260,000 sale. ... more

Laura Feghali answered:
Hi Steve,
As Scott mentioned, you will probably have to add your listing manually as the property was not picked up by a feed apparently.

To add it manually, click on the "Buy" tab at the top of your screen. A drop down menu will appear with a tab that says "FREE list a property". Here you can add all the details including copy, photos, virtual tours, and Open House times. It will take from 24-48 hours for your listing to appear.

Also, you can contact a Trulia moderator to find out why your listing is not being picked up by a feed at:

1-888-466-3501 during CA business hours 7:00am-4:00pm.

Good luck!

Annette Lawrence answered:
My observation has been that although the home buyer would prefer to send their business to local lenders, the packaged incentives, services and suggested convenience offered by the likes of B&A appear to provide a greater economic benefit. In the end, it's not necessarily the mortgage lending rate but the package deal that persuades the borrower.

Perhaps advising the borrower that should they be late on the mortg, the bank that services the mortgage, checking account or savings, can, without notification, take the balance from the citizens checking, saving or both serviced by the same bank.
