The difference in sales price is probably due to a higher HOA assessment. HOA at Manti Place is currently $204/month due to the additional special "Reserve" catch-up assessment of $50/unit - which is supposed to go away next year. ... more

Hi Silverfox,

As the house prices in the Valley have plummeted, the tax bills have been much slower to follow them down. If a property is an investment and not a primary residence, the tax is higher. If you are currently living in a home and you believe the taxes are too high, you have the chance to appear at a Board of Equalization once a year. They are off on their deadline dates, but the information on the appeals steps to follow is correct.
