This data is provided to us from Zillow foreclosures and we currently do not have the ability to edit or remove the information that they are sending us.

Please be advised that I have created a ticket to Zillow Consumer Care to request the removal of the foreclosure status from your property at (2006 Wrightsboro Rd. Augusta, GA). Once the status is removed from Zillow, it will automatically update to Trulia after 24-48 hours.

Thank you for using Trulia!

It depends on what type of transaction you are participating in. Is this a short sale or an REO?
In a short sale, 99% out of a 100% the lender will do their own appraisal and if you submitted an initial offer, it is standard that they will counter closer to what their accessed value is. Your question is not clear, what do you mean by inspection? ... more

"the mortgage company is suggesting foreclosure"

Really? That is awful! What the mortgage company probably isn't sharing is how much money your dad and you will leave behind with a foreclosure, how soon the property would sell and more.

I agree with Kathy. The damage will be done to your father's credit rather than yours if you walk away and allow the lender to foreclose. But values are up a lot here due to limited inventory, so selling will very likely help you walk away with some badly needed funds rather than leaving them with the property for the lender or some investor to absorb. I have helped international owners with their Metro Atlanta real estate transactions and would welcome the opportunity to speak.

If you'll call me today, I'll share what I think your home may be worth so that you can make the best decision. By the way, I am with Keller Williams in Duluth.

Either way, good luck and please remain encouraged.

Every part of Cobb County is served by a public high school, so you may want to use those high schools near Dobbins as a point of reference. The link below offers pre-built queries of Campbell, Marietta, Osborne and Wheeler High Schools. If your household consists of school-aged kids, please consider the research available at the Governor's Office of Student Achievement to help you decide on the best school choices for your needs. Some school clusters are better than others.

By the way, Marietta City Schools is separate from Cobb County Schools. Probably best viewed in Firefox (or disable pop up blocker).
