I used to own 3115 Double Lake Drive (2002 to 2005), right on the lake. We LOVED our home, it didn't lose value when we went to sell, it was a GREAT community, good schools, crime watch involvement, good HOA as part of First Colony, great location.

We moved to England and came back and bought in Lake Olympia further down Hwy 6 and it was a bad move. We should have gone back to our lake community at Heritage Colony!

The information Thomas provided is correct. It is a very well maintained subdivision. I have a listing at 3607 Double Lake Drive and the house is in immaculate condition. Home owners in this area take pride in their community. There is a lake nearby with a jogging trail which is walking distance from this home. Heritage Colony is centrally located. It has easy access to the main road which is Hwy 6. Even though you have a Missouri City address, you are literally right next to Sugar Land. Heritage Colony is just south of SugarLand and actually sits on the city limits between Missouri City and Sugarland. As part of First Colony, it is a well maintained section of a very nice master-planned community. The homes in Heritage Colony were built by Plantation Homes and by David Weekley Homes, both good builders.
