Hi Nancy,

There is a high water table in Silver Creek, and many of the houses DO have water in the crawl spaces. It is pretty much a given that you will have to deal with water. However, a lot of houses have pumps, etc. that take care of the problem for you automatically without you having to do much of anything except check on it once in awhile.

I currently have a great home listed in lower silver creek, on 2.59 acres of horse property! please visit http://www.postlets.com/res/1138558 to see it - and feel free to contact me if you have any more questions I can answer for you. I am very familiar with the silver creek area, and would love to help you out!
