If you're not able to find what you are looking for on the websites below then you can always call your local title company and ask for their customer service department. They should be able to do a search for you and help you out.

Let me know if I can be of further assistance.

Thank you,

Unless you are experienced in viewing recording information online, to be certain, I would recommend that you personally visit the RECORDER'S and ASSESSOR'S office. They are located at 555 Grand Central Parkway, Las Vegas, NV 89101. They are both located on the 3rd Floor, right next to each other. The staff is very helpful and can provide a certain answer.

However, if you are aware of how to look for a default online, you can visit the Recorder's website. Also, I work with renters. If you are looking for a rental, I complete a check to make sure a default has not been filed. I can assist you in locating a rental.

If you have further questions, please call.

You can pull up the records on the County Recorders page . See if a notice of default has been filed and when . That is usually an indicator that the home us going through foreclosure . Make sure that the person you are renting from is the owner which is listed on the tax record at the county recorder page . Or if it is not the owner do they have power of attorney or are they a property management company representing the owner . Do not enter into an agreement with or give anyone any deposit money without checking into this . A Realtor can help you find suitable properties with no cost to you .

If you see a notice attached to the home.....usually on the garage door......that is a good indicator.

As a Realtor,....I have sites available to me that I can access for this information.

If you send me the address,..I will look it up for you....

Hello! A very valid question, these days! If there is a blue-taped notice on the door, that's the 1st step in the foreclosure process. Once you see that, look up the "assessors parcel number" here:…
Once you have that, go to the clark county recorders website here:
...and search by parcel number. That will tell you if a "Notice of Default" or "Notice of Sale" has been filed, which is the next step after the evil blue tape notice.
Alternately, give me a call or shoot me an email with your address and I'll look it up for you. :-D

There may not be any websites that have it. You will see a notice nailed to the door or near a door to give notice to anyone there at some point.
