Contact me for more information to your questions. Depending on your timeline would really change things the fairmount area is well known in the dfw area however it is also very hard to purchase in due to the lack of listings in this region, if it is priced right it wont be along long. Contact me when you get this and I will make sure we keep you in the loop and your the first one in the door everytime. Thank you.

Fairmount is the closest to JPS and you will love it here! I live here; the neighbors are GREAT, as are the lovely old homes!

Also, perhaps Mistletoe Heights & Ryan Place (older period homes well-loved).

Having lived ftw 45 years, mostly in the type neighborhoods you describe, and i am NOT a realtor, my suggestion would be 76109. TCU, Berkley, Mistletoe, Ryan Place. If you have school age kids, the public schools in this neighborhood are consistently rated highest in fwisd. Expect to pay 300-700k for a place with new kitchen and baths. A jps doctor will fit right in. Welcome, new neighbor.

I would also recommend Fairmount which is near the trendy W. Magnolia Ave. Fairmount is also the largest historic neighborhood.

Dear Skenda,

Your question raises some other questions:

When are you planning to move to Fort Worth?

Do you have a house you need to sell before purchasing the next one?

What price range are you wanting to look at?

Have you arranged for your financing and received a pre-qualification letter from a loan officer?

Send me this info and I will help you get started on the project of finding a new home in FW. I've been selling houses in this county for 32 years, and I am available whenever you plan to come into town to look at available homes. With the information you provide to these questions, I will be able to get you some details of houses which are currently on the market, and I can forward you photographs. Timing is important, so let me know when you wish to get started.

Happy Thanksgiving!

Good Evening
I think Sloan picked out some great neighborhoods. I would add Westover Hills as well.
