Are you looking to do the work? If so wait for the sign to go up on one and call the agent.

Typically, banks are sluggish in spending money to care for a home unless they have to spend. If you are maintenance/handyman looking for work, contact the agent if listed or the bank directly to speak with there asset manager.

It would depend on what stage of the foreclosure process is the home in. If it already pass the trustee sale date and no one purchased the home at the sale, then the lender will now be the owner. It may take the bank anywhere from 2 weeks to several months before they appoint a listing agent to resell the home. Until then, it's the bank's responsibility to maintain the home, but the chances of that happening before a REO listing agent takes over is slim.

If you want to know who the current owner is, I can find that out for you. All I will need is the address of the property.

Hi Margaret,
I understand and know first hand of your concerns.
I live down the street to a home in foreclosure and the yard was just a mess. I called the HOA, listing agent and Bank to try to get it cleaned up to no avail. Because everyone in the neighborhood was so tired of seeing this eyesore, my husband and some other neighbors spent the day cleaning up the landscape. It wasn't the best way to spend a Sunday, but it does look much better.

Go by the home and see if there is contact info (sign or posted paper) if not them you will have to wait for the REO agent to post a sign. What is the address some agents don't post signs.
