Hi Trulis San Jose:

Frankly we have seen significant interest in all South Bay, MLS Areas.

The County is a terrific state, with buyers and sellers highly motivated to
buy and sell.

Bets regards

There isn't an easy answer to that ... a lot of equivocating.

Palo Alto, Mountain View, Los Altos home prices started rising early in 2012. Palo Alto is still going up but the number of homes for sale and thus the number of sales is low. Cupertino has also been strong. Sunnyvale and Santa Clara are good but probably not pushed up as strongly.

When you start looking at neighborhoods the number of sales can be too low in a quarter to get meaningful statistics.

I would say that Cupertino appears to be the hottest with respect to the amount of buyer demand, multiple offers and overbids over the most recent comparable closed sales.
