When viewing aerial maps, it looks like there is a factory (?) west of Addy. What am I seeing? Thank you, Kathy

Hi Kathy...
The setting of the old "Alcoa" plant is in a beautiful small valley, surrounded by level hay fields fields with views of mountains in the distance and it is placed so that you do not really see it until you are driving along the road in front of it, although you can see the lights at night.

What you see west of Addy is the former site of Northwest Alloys magnesium plant. They ceased their operation in 2001. They maintain a small crew for maintainence on the plant.
