Westwood Station is finished and up and running with a mall situated next to rental apartments, all down the street from the Amtrak/commuter rail station. It's not exactly the "community" that was promised to the town, but Wegman's and Target are very popular shopping destinations. Ironically, Sports Authority has already gone out of business there, but that has to do with the financial shape of the store chain rather than a failure of the mall.

Chances are 2-3 years out you'll see condos turned into apartments (developers will want the revenue) w/ a significant impact on the school system.

Good question, but we call it Westwood Station. Not sure what Junction is. There's a delay in progress, so we probably won't see much until 2010. Could be big-box stores coming. The economy has altered the original plans of luxury condos, upscale retail and restaurants. So time will tell if Wegmans opens in Westwood. We residents are looking forward to seeing progress at Westwood Station, located next to the Rt. 128 Amtrak station.
