Don't you know? This is all dependant on the agency.
Some agencies you are expected to know everything. You are charged desk space, office use and phone use on a monthly basis. You pay for all advertising of your listing, or at least share with the other listings in the ad. You may pay for U&O. Come commission time, the brokerage may nickel and dime for other fees.
Most agencies let you have free or limited use of office space, phones, equipment, advertise your listings for you in the paper and sometimes pay for U&O. Come commission time, they split it to whatever you agreed with them plus they nickel and dime other fees.
Very fee agencies treat you similar to an employee. They pay you a set fee plus commission and they tell you what to do and when to do it. Rarely any freedom. They pay for everything and give you a web site (page) to use.
What I would expect from a broker (anywhere) is continual updates and informal office training, real estate advise, assistance with any concerns, etc.
