Planning on buying a home in Lakemont manorbut I'm not sure if the neighborhood will retain its value over the next 5 years. Any advice?

Nobody can predict the future but right now you are most likely buying at the bottom of the market with the lowest interest rates in all of our lifetimes. There is not a better time to buy... but that being said it has to make sense for your. In real estate you always want to look at the time horizon and at least a 5 year one at that. So you are on that line.
