Neighborhoods for the Ideal Commute - Arlington, and...?

Asked by Dan Tuma, 22304 Wed Apr 8, 2009

Besides Arlington/Vienna/Merrifield, could anyone recommend good neighborhoods that would provide roughly equal commutes to Rockville and Crystal City or Andrews AFB?

Hi Dan,
I've been around long enough to know there is a lot more with your question :)
Equal commutes: Do you mean driving time, distance, or metro? There is no metro to Andrews.
There are a lot of choices for locations that will work for the commute you describe above and some places you might like. You didn't provide a price range which makes a difference. If you need help give me or one of the other Realtors, shown below, a call. Personal assistance is best from a good Realtor that knows the areas.

Falls Church is great... and McLean; maybe Springfield or Burke - but those are further. They have public transportation, but other than that, I am not sure I'd use the term "ideal" commute. Actually, Manassas and even the Dulles corridor has good public transportation options.. but now we're really getting out there.

Depends on the price and product type (single family, condo, etc.) that you're looking for. With a bit more info we can steer you to good communities that would help you balance all that you're looking for.
