Looking for my ideal Florida location

Asked by Geoff, New York, NY Sun May 31, 2009

I'm hoping to buy a home in Florida but can't decide on possible areas to look at.
My budget is around $1m, and I'd like 3,000 sq ft, decent garden, a good sized pool, near (cycling distance) to a small town with restaurants and close to a beach. I don't want to be in a busy residential area, don't need golf courses or schools.

I'd welcome anyones thoughts and ideas, sorry the question is so vague.

Hi Geoff,

You should probably consider Flagler County in NE Floridat which includes Flagler Beach and Palm Coast, some quiet areas, with properties close to and on the ocean as well as salt water canal homes and intracoastal properties, nice and quiet, online search at:

Or e-mail me for details.

You live in NY now? What do you want in an area, golf, beach, hiking, surfing, NASCAR, park, nature, fishing, etc? I've lived in 5 counties and they were all different and offered various activies and climate changes, some have season, some do not. What do you like? You can e-mail me your preferences for amenties and whether you want a home, home and acreage, custom home, condo, etc.
