Hi Sc82, Stockbridge is an enchanted, historic Berkshire town, with lovely, stores, restaurants, Red Lion Inn and the famed Norman Rockwell Main Street. There is also a great, large motor boat Lake in Stockbridge, called Stockbridge Bowl. So much to know about the Stockbridge being settled in the early days and so much great stuff about Stockbridge during the Gilded Age. You'll find plenty of the detail by Googling Stockbridge, MA.
The temperature in Stockbridge is probably the same as in your town of Lexington, MA, but since the Stockbridge is located in the Berkshire Mountains, I wouldn't be surprised if the climate is bit fresher and few degrees less during the hot summers.
Good luck and if you haven't discover the magic of the Berkshires yet, it is just about the time you did.
Call me at any time, I'll assist you in your Berkshire home search and share with you my love for the region.
