All of the links Anna provided are great. I personally have found calling the police department will be your best bet. Agents are prohibited from steering you to or from an area. If you would like to view some properties I work in this area, please do not hesitate to call!

I have lived in the village of "Olde Hurley" for 35 years. I have never had a concern about my or my family's safety except for traffic.

The school district is Kingston however, the local grade school has a very good rating.

Median income is high and property taxes although lower than Kingston City are high for what you get. Water, septic, trash etc. are all private fee based services.

When it comes to any safety/crime related issues, it's always best to contact the local police department with all your questions, hear all there is to hear firsthand. If unfamiliar with the area(s) do revisit more than once and at different times of day, possibly chat with locals/neighbors. Real estate professionals are prohibited from steering, enticing a buyer to purchase/rent, or not, in specific neighborhoods.
