If you drive you have so many options in radius 5-10 minutes. If you are walking it is not. However you have to take in consideration what you are looking for. Do you want to live on busy street by commercial area or green and quiet residential area?

Now that key foods is in the area there is definitely sufficient food shopping and eating choices. In that one plaza there's CVS, Chase bank a pizzeria sushi and Chinese.

If you are talking about Arden Heights or Village Greens , the shopping center is great for people who do not drive. They just recently reopened the old king kullen and I believe it is Key Food which is a bit overpriced but at least it is a major supermarket. As far as eateries there is a new restaurant opening where Tru Value was. The pizza place /restaurant is very good. There is also a sushi place and a Chinese restaurant.
