I have a 20 unit building built before 1979 so my units are under rent control for normal leases. I have had someone approach me that wants to furnish the units and use for corporate housing (30 days at a time).
If I sign a lease for one or more of my units to this corporate housing company are the units still under rent control?
I'd love to hear from a real estate attorney who actually knows something about how these kinds of leases work.
