I am planning to build my 3300 sq.ft. 2-story home by the intersection of Walnut Hill & Esters near 161. The small subdivision has homes about 30 yrs old with only a few 2-story homes. There are 3 new homes neighboring my lot. As far as I know the home values are 150-300K in the subdivision. Even though Irving is highly desirable Im not certain if I should build on this lot considering resale. Im yet to get bids from builders but total cost should be 290-330K. Please advise me if its a good choice to build here or not even though Im saving money here.
