i'd also check with USAA and Amica (discount through Costco). Allstate is not very good about paying claims (for example..a client whose roof didn't have enough dings in it from a hail storm per square foot) and Statefarm, although good company, is expensive in most cases. Most insurance companies rate the customer based on their credit scores, so if your score is low, prepare to pay for a higher premium. ... more
