The best way to find out the most reliable information is to call the local police precinct. If you are in Philadelphia already, you can call 311 and they can help you find out more information. Outside of the city, you would need to dial 215-686-8686.

Trulia pulls most of the information available on the site from public records, and the annual property taxes are part of that record.

Typically in rental situations, the property taxes are NOT an additional cost incurred by the renter, but each situation and landlord is different.
