We’re excited you’re using Trulia for your home search process. We are a real estate search engine so we don't represent the homes found on our site. Please follow these steps to begin your home search:

1. Click the "Rent' tab at the top of our homepage.
2. Enter your desired city and state in the search bar and hit Enter.
3. Click 'Max Price' to select what your highest price would be to pay for a home. Click 'Min Price' to set the lowest price you would pay.
4. Click 'More Filters'.
5. Select your preferred property type, square footage, etc.
6. Click the red 'Apply' button.

This will begin to pull up listings that are more tailored to what you are looking for.

If you are interested in a listing, click on the "Contact the agent" button to get in touch with a real estate professional in your area. You can also take advantage of our vast network of agents here:

We hope your experience with Trulia is memorable and thank you for using Trulia for all your real estate needs.

What "agent" would post something demeaning to the gentleman below asking for help? You, "James" or Geoff, as well as you "Ron" are very unprofessional and need to grow up. You don't Ray and his situation nor anyone else's why they have hard times, bad credit, etc. That's just cruel and one day you might be in anyone's shoes buying your ownself the same funny remarks that won't be so funny then. ... more

My NC Homes…, Real Estate Pro in Chapel Hill, NC
Sat Oct 10, 2015
My NC Homes Team answered:

No one at Trulia is reading these posts, they are for other professionals to repsond to. My guess is you may have put in $950 as the minimum price rather than the maximum price, you should check your search parameters. That said Trulia and Zillow are dreadful places to look for rentals, I'd estimate at leat half are scams. You'd be better of workign with some local property management companies or Realtors who handle rentals.

If you want the search ended there should be an opt-out link at the bottomr of each email you're getting from Trulia, that would be the fastes and best way to stop the emails. Hope this helps.
