We’re excited you’re using Trulia for your home search process. We are a real estate search engine so we don't represent the homes found on our site. Please follow these steps to begin your home search:
1. Click the "Rent' tab at the top of our homepage.
2. Enter your desired city and state in the search bar and hit Enter.
3. Click 'Max Price' to select what your highest price would be to pay for a home. Click 'Min Price' to set the lowest price you would pay.
4. Click 'More Filters'.
5. Select your preferred property type, square footage, etc.
6. Click the red 'Apply' button.
This will begin to pull up listings that are more tailored to what you are looking for.

I have lived in the area outside of the gated community for the past 5 years and have never had any problems. I am also a retired person. If you do not go looking for problems you will be fine, we do have a good police presence in the area. Good luck with your move.... more
What "agent" would post something demeaning to the gentleman below asking for help? You, "James" or Geoff, as well as you "Ron" are very unprofessional and need to grow up. You don't Ray and his situation nor anyone else's why they have hard times, bad credit, etc. That's just cruel and one day you might be in anyone's shoes buying your ownself the same funny remarks that won't be so funny then.... more

Yes, Leigh Acres and Ft. Myers per capita have lots of crime, murders, etc.,and don't let anyone tell you different...It's public knowledge...Be aware of the area in which you may live,i.e.. rent or buy...... more
No one at Trulia is reading these posts, they are for other professionals to repsond to. My guess is you may have put in $950 as the minimum price rather than the maximum price, you should check your search parameters. That said Trulia and Zillow are dreadful places to look for rentals, I'd estimate at leat half are scams. You'd be better of workign with some local property management companies or Realtors who handle rentals.
If you want the search ended there should be an opt-out link at the bottomr of each email you're getting from Trulia, that would be the fastes and best way to stop the emails. Hope this helps.... more
