There are two communities that are classified as 55+; Four Seasons at Gold Hill and Sun City Carolina Lakes (although this is truly in Indian Land). Del Webb is building another 55+ community near Hwy 21/160 that should be open early next year. As long as it is in the same line of work without a big break in between you should be ok, it might have to just be manually approved by the underwriter rather then going through underwriting system !
Talk to a lender and don't give up if one says no , when you talk to a loan officer you get a feel if they are willing to help you or not , they will ask you for a whole lot of documents,paystubs ect, that means they are willing to do the leg work!
