It depends on what gate you are trying to get to. For most maps you don't need an address, you can just write in Lewis/McChord and they will direct you to the main gate.

There are many addresses located within the base, however you may find this helpful....

2. The Visitor Center for JBLM - Lewis Main and Lewis North is located at Exit 120 off of I-5 near Liberty Gate. The hours are 0500 – 2300 daily. Vehicle Registration is conducted at this Visitor Center from 1700-2200, Mon- Fri and from 0700 – 2200 on weekends and federal holidays.

3. The Visitor Center for JBLM – McChord Field is located at Exit 125 off of I-5 near the main gate of McChord Field. The hours are 0600 – 1930 daily. Vehicle Registration is conducted at this Visitor Center during the hours of operation.

There are soooo many houses for sale here. Every real estate agent will jump at a chance to help you find a home but make sure if you work with one you stay focused on your family budget and needs. I am not a real estate agent. However we are selling our home buy owner if you are looking for a 4 bedroom 2.5 bath on the west side of Olympia near all the shopping in the Thurston County, close to public and private christian schools and your hubby can just hop on the 101 and be at base in 15 - 20 minutes. I know this because my own husband works in DuPONT. We have a neighborhood of great families and it is safe for the kids to ride their bikes and scooter. The Evergreen State College has swimming for the kids as does the YMCA and several private facilities just 10-15 minutes away. We are close to all the children's attractions on Olympia. We do not live in a MEGA cookie cutter neighborhood. Our neighborhood is about 65 homes semi custom built by 5 or so builders and our home was the builders model. We have just over 2500 square feet and a house with lots of windows for the light to come in which is a must in this climate. If you are interested in coming to see our neighborhood with your husband our neighborhood price range is 350K an up. Feel free to email and we can set up an appointment for you to see our home. We get deer, eagles and wildlife in the neighborhood but the only mall in Olympia is only a 5 minute drive from our peaceful and wooded neighborhood with a view of the Olympics. No realtors please. In Washington State sellers are required to fill out a five page form disclosing information about their home and property. The questions range from defects with the home, easements, sewage systems, fixtures & systems, environmental issues and more. The seller is must submit this form to buyers purhcasing their home.

It is always a good idea to do your own inspeciton of the home with a certified home inspector as the seller may not know of hidden defects.
