wells fargo REO has a home I want to purchase. How do I find out what they are willing to sell it for??

Asked by Beth, Puyallup, WA Wed Aug 20, 2008

My sister just purchased a home in the fredrickson area. There is a home in her new neighborhood that has foreclosure notices on the door. I contacted the trustee service listed but they sent it back to wells fargo because it didn't sell at auction. How do I contact Wells Fargo to inquire about this specific home??

I can't find it listed anywhere. The Pierce County Tax website lists it owned by Wells Fargo and the Secretary of VA. I checked Ocwen and it isn't listed there. It reverted back to the bank/VA in May. My son is disabled and needs an appropriate home, this home would work splendedly and it is near family which is always a blessing :)

Ask your agent to do a CMA and have a conversation with the listing agent. Don't call the listing agent yourself. No matter how smart you are, you will inevitably give them information you shouldn't and cause them to close up on giving information before your agent has a chance to get any from them.
Wells Fargo is not going to give you anything.
They will want to talk to a professional.
