our home sold at auction on Dec 6th-how can we find out who bought it and how much they paid?

The Foreclosure Deed and the new Deed will eventually be filed with the courthouse. That will take several weeks though.

Your local courthouse should have the land records. When the new deed is recorded--which it probably has been already--it'll be on file at the courthouse.
