586 acorn Dr. in Dayton, Ohio is in foreclosure but have not been able to locate it on foreclosure list. Any other way to verify this?

I only want to check the status on this property, not all foreclosure.

We will attempt to make arrangements to tour the property if it is of continued interest.

You can research the owner of the property at Montgomery County Property Search: (http://www.mcrealestate.org/Search/GenericSearch.aspx?mode=ADDRESS)

When I did this I found the current owner's name based on the county records.

I then used this information in the Montgomery County Clerk of Courts (http://www.clerk.co.montgomery.oh.us/pro/) to find if there is a foreclosure process filed. I could not find a foreclosure that was filed against the owner on record.

I then went to the Sheriff's list to see if it was for sale and I didn't see the property. (http://www.mcohio.org/sheriff/sflistauction.cfm).

I also search on the Dayton Area Board of Realtors Public search site (http://dayton.rapmls.com/scripts/mgrqispi.dll?APPNAME=Dayton…) and could not find the property listed for sale.

Also it appears the taxes are paid up current based on the county website.

Not sure how you know it's in foreclosure. I suggest you check the Montgomery County Sheriff's Properties for Sale list (link http://www.mcohio.org/sheriff/Real_Estate.cfm). If it's on this list the owner still has possesion. If it is you can go to the Sheriff sale and purchase, BTW, a risky task, or wait until the bank takes ownership and it is listed. If you need a Realtor to keep an eye out let me know. 937-435-2267 ext 163
