You have different types, Federal, State, County, City. You also have bank & mortgage company foreclosures; this would include fha & va. They also have different ways to purchase them. I would suggest that you contact a Realtor in your area to work with you on this. It will not cost you anything and they can provide information that would be difficult or not available to you on the property and the area.
