I was renting and living in this house when it was foreclosed. Why didn't let me buy it instead of throwing me out???

The banks unfortunately are usually not concerned about renters and are just focused on securing the property and trying to regain debts from the owner. If you had lived at the property for longer than a year in the Sate of California you have the right to at least a 60 day notice. Banks also may offer you money to move out of a property earlier. You could ask the listing agent or myself about how you cna buy the proeprty if you are still interested.
