Pre foreclosure stage. Is this a conflict of interest matter for litigation?

Asked by Scorpio, Louisville, KY Mon Mar 1, 2010

I am in pre foreclosure stage. A "friend" of the mortgage holder signs a short sell contract for 35% under fair market value. Broker then advertises sale but answers inquiries with story that they already have an offer for a short sale. Sale takes place to "friend" who then places my house back on the market at 30% more than he paid me.

Absolutely sounds like fraud to me. I would recommend you ask the district attorney or the Kentucky Department of Financial Services in Frankfort if it sounds like fraud to them.

This sounds like fraud.

Everyone including the Real Estate Broker can go to jail.

It is thinking like this that caused the crisis we are in.

Avoid this at all costs. It is against the law.
